The big brother to the Standard version, the Deluxe Light Shade is a multi-purpose emergency/survival device designed for 4” and 6” chemical or LED light sticks. This light shade is designed for long-term use and survival. This high quality product adds an adjustable strap, side-release buckle and a Velcro® light stick fastener on the strap.

The Light Shade blocks the illumination of the light stick away from your eyes, allowing the Light Shade and light stick to function together as one directional light.
When exposed to a direct light, the pupil of the human eye closes, causing the surrounding area around the light to go dark. When the Light Shade covers the light stick, it efficiently controls, directs and reflects the light into one source. Because the Light Shade is blocking or shading the light from your eyes, the pupil will completely open, allowing visibility in very low-light conditions.
